Kim was raised with Christian Science and has been an active Christian Scientist almost all of her adult life.  What intrigues her most about Christian Science is the way it explains God as a law of universal Love itself.  God, as Love, is a life-force whose principles can be understood and scientifically applied to any of life's situations to bring about harmony, balance and health.

She has experienced numerous healings of physical, financial and relationship difficulties in her own life and has seen healings in the lives of others relying on Christian Science.  In the last twenty years, Kim helped others through prayer on a part time basis, and is now  fully devoting herself to this practice. Her gratitude for the many healings she has seen and experienced has deepened her devotion to making Christian Science more widely available to others.

As a Christian Science practitioner, most of her day is dedicated to the one-on-one practice, taking calls and doing visits.  Her practice also involves community work and she is involved in the local and internet communities in a variety of ways: through her branch church, a Ministerial Association, being a volunteer on the local hospital's prayer team, and being involved in community efforts toward healing, especially as they relate to youth.  For those newly interested in Christian Science, she provides a weekly blog and participates in Science and Health discussion groups, both in person and online.

Most recently, her work with the publisher of The Writings of Mary Baker Eddy took her all over the world, introducing Science and Health to book industries throughout parts of Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and Asia.  She found that the ideas in Science and Health are truly universal and were welcomed by booksellers all over the world – including in predominately Islamic, Hindu, Catholic, Christian and secular countries.  In addition, Kim worked with international teams to share the broader application of Christian Science to bring comfort, restore hope and ensure safety to thousands of people via media and special events during crisis situations throughout the world.

Prior to her work with the publisher, Kim was administrator for a Christian Science nursing facility – a facility that gives nursing care to those who are under Christian Science treatment.   Kim directed the day-to-day operations that contributed to the overall care and well being of many patients, and was in charge of managing the financial, legal, insurance and health care issues that go along with supervising a licensed care facility.

Kim holds a Master's degree in Education Administration and took the course of Primary Class Instruction in Christian Science healing in 1978.  Every year since then, she takes a post graduate course in spiritual healing, attending with an association of hundreds of other Christian Scientists and practitioners representing up to 30 countries.

Kim, a mother of two boys, stays active in her lifelong love of the arts and outdoors, having met her husband while whitewater kayaking and racing.  All four of them have lived in the East Coast and in the Midwest where they enjoy creating art, as well as reading, traveling and having outdoor adventures.
